www.laworks.net

www.Laworks. Net, What's It About?

This is another of those deceiving website names, this site www.Laworks. Net is actually the Louisiana Workforce Commission website and this means it could be difficult to find if you really needed to file for unemployment, join a worker training course, apply for a job, or even post a job in Louisiana.

Once you get to the site, there is a lot of information packed into the home page. In other words you're going to have to go through several windows to probably find the information you're actually looking for.

There is also an amazing amount of downloadable PDF documents concerning different types of Louisiana employment information including your L&I federally mandated posters, unemployment insurance posters, workers compensation fraud, apprenticing programs and others

Not only can you file for unemployment, but there is also a business section, career solutions, a complete information source for workers compensation, labor market information, Louisiana Youth Works, and if you are looking for good employees, a way to post a job.

It's an attractive layout in many ways but on the other hand, it may be difficult for some to actually find the answer to their questions. There is a search bar so you can search within the site that is if you can find it, it's rather small, but it can help a lot.

Usually when you are looking for government sites, the ending is not a. Net, but a. Gov and because this is not a typical government address, some people may be concerned that are on the wrong page or that the site may have been hijacked.

But this is the Louisiana government workforce site page. And this means if you're interested in workers compensation, labor and industries, workforce, unemployment benefits, have to file a claim for injury, or need the newest unemployment insurance news, it's all available on this Louisiana government site known as www.Laworks. Net.
